Does Money matters in life ?

With regard to money, Shri Sai Baba demonstrated many a time that it has no value.

One of the many is below: One day, a rich man came to Baba and asked for Brahma Jnanam. He said, that is the only thing lacking in his life and he has got all. Baba said- I am very happy. Rarely, I find someone asking for this, as everyone is coming to me to seek materialistic things.

Saying thus, HE was sending someone to the shopkeepers to lend HIM some money and they all refused to lend Baba Sai any money fearing that they will not get it back. The rich man, who came to seek Brahma Jnana, was seeing all this, but instead of giving that money, kept quite. Finally he said, give me the Brahma Jnana fast, as I have to leave. Then Sri Sai Baba coolly told him - "I am trying the same. However, if you do not give Rs 5 (in this context, his ego, his buddhi etc.. which means surrendering to the HIM), then only you will get Brahma Jnana. However, you are so fond of it, you can not part with it. Unless you part with it, I can not". (excerpt from Shri Sai Master's Shri Sai Leelamrutam)

History Of Dakshina Mukhi Maruti Of Shri Hanumanji Temple Shirdi

Lord Hanumanji, a deity praised and worshiped for His devotion and service to Lord Rama was seated in a temple in Shirdi from the times when Sai Baba moved and sported in embodied form. Now in this post i would like to throw some light on few facts of this temple.

History Of Dakshina Mukhi Maruti (Lord Hanumanji) Temple

This temple had two idols of Maruti Idols. A saint named Devi Das and Gangaghir of Punatambe whenever visited Shirdi stayed in this temple. Baba got this temple repaired from the Dakshina He received from devotees. 

It is said that during Chavdi Procession, Sai Baba used to halt at Lord Hanumanji temple and waved His hands showing some strange gestures and stood quietly there for few minutes. The Palki Procession today also stops here and Chopdars do Lalkari. It is also used by ardent devotees who wish to do Naam Jaap. Hanuman Jayanti is also celebrated on grand scale which falls after Ramnavami every year. 

Peepul and Neem tree are in front of the temple and the Nag Pratistha under these trees was done by Shri. B.V.Narsimha Swamy. A Shiv-ling along with Nandi is also installed on this site by Murthikar Bajre Rao Dalve of Bombay on February 11, 1983. Villagers also celebrate Mahashivratri with all pomp and show.

कबसे खड़ा है तेरी रह में बच्चा अंकित तेरा 
बस ऐसा चमत्कार हो जाये बाबा साँस में यहाँ लू,
साई और तुझे पता वह हो जाये।।

कर दे मालिक कृपा कर दे बाबा कल्याण,
तेरे दर पे आ गिरा तेरा बालक अंकित नादान।।
